Given :  AB = 8 cm   , BC = 6 cm  ∠ABC = 90°  BD⊥ AC

To Draw : A circle passing through points BDA

Solution:

Step 1 : Draw a Line segment AB = 8 cm

Step 2 : Draw an angle of 90° at B on AB using setsquare / protractor

Step 3 : Take a length of 6 cm from B on angle drawn in step 2 and mark it C

Step 4 : join AC

Step 5 : Using suitable width of compass , Taking B as center Draw arcs intersecting AC at P & Q

Step 6 : using suitable width of compass taking P & Q as center draw arcs intersecting at R

Step 7 : join BR and extend such that it intersect AC at D

BD ⊥ AC

ABD is right angle triangle and AB is hypotenuse

to  draw circle passing through points BDA , Circle to be drawn from mid point of AB

Step 8 : Using suitable width of compass , Taking  A as center   Draw arcs on both sides of AB

Step 9 : keeping compass width same , Taking B as center Draw arcs such that it intersects arc dawn in  step at X & Y

Step 10 : join X & Y , draw a line intersecting AB at O

Step 11 : Taking Compass width = OA = OD , draw a circle passing through D .

As O lies on the AB  => BC ⊥  OB  as BC ⊥ AB

=> CB is tangent to circle
