Menacing crocodile- He showed a picture of crocodile whose mouth is full of teeth. Illustration of crocodile we see as a beast. This crocodile has sharp white teeth which are designed by Dahl to let us know that those sharp teeth are specially for eating children.  

Humpy Rumpy Hippopotamus- Quentin Blake Illustrated hippopotamus as a gigantic creature who looks funny and scary at the same time. He illustrated hippopotamus as a big animal that is standing on slimy muddy path near the river bank.
