according to Rutherford's model the electrons were supposed to revolve around the nucleus which radiates energy....at some point the energy distinguishes and the electrons falls into the nucleus...which would make matter highly unstable...but we know matter is quite stable....so Rutherford's model was drawbacked
it was later proved that electron revolve in orbits called discrete orbits which do not radite enegy and it was proved by Neil's Bohr
