Convex lens is also known as converging lens .

please refer the attachment for the ray diagrams

1) At Infinity :

When object is placed at infinity  the image is formed at focus.

Nature of Image :

  • real
  • inverted
  • highly diminshed

2) Beyond 2F1 :

When object is placed beyond 2F1 the image is between F2 and C2

Nature of Image :

  • real
  • inverted
  • diminished

3) At 2F1   :

When object is placed at 2F1 the image at 2F2

Nature of Image :

  • real
  • inverted
  • same size as object

4) Between F1and 2F1

When object is placed beyond F1 and 2F1 the image is between beyond 2f1[ beyond c]

Nature of Image :

  • real
  • inverted
  • magnified
