The answer to the question you have raised depends upon various factors. You must appreciate that school students are immature in their thoughts and deeds. They should be put to some control and as such, dress code in schools is absolutely necessary. But once the students enter in colleges, they are quite matured, at least we think so. Therefore, I think it is not good to put any restriction on his/her newly acquired liberty. Of course, it does not mean that they should be allowed to wear vulgur dresses; rather their dress should be sober and commendable which would set an example for others. But any sort of restriction, as you know, is sure to raise protests from the students.
