as we know that a cuboid is is formed by the joining of rectangles
all its are l, b and h and there are 6 faces
area of each rectangle is lb, bh, hl, bl, hb, lh
sum of all the areas = lb+bh+bl+hb+lh+hl
⇒lb+lb+hb+hb+hl+hl
⇒2(lb+hb+hl)
∴TSA = 2(lb+hb+hl)
