Always we draw money from bank and thus drew means something comes in business or cash comes in business so cash A/C is debited because of the rule "debit what comes in and credit what goes out ".

Bank A/C is credited because of the rule "debit the receiver and credit the giver."

So,bank is the giver so it is credited.
