Prenchyma
they are tissues that have little bit of intracellular space

they have relatively unspecialised cells
the store the food in a plant

there are 2 types of parenchyma (according to grade 9 ncert)
chlorenchyma-they have chlorophyll in them and perform photosynthesis
aerenchyma-they have small air cavities in them and provide buoyancy to the plant

Collenchyma
they provide strength and flexibility to the plant

they provide mechanical support

they have little intracellular spaces

provide easy bending without breaking at various parts of the plant

later when the plant grows there is another layer of secondary meriste. which replaces this layer(sclerenchyma)

you can add the location of these cells as another difference
