Answer: The molecular formula is   C_{21}H_{30}O_{2} .

Explanation:

Given in the question that it contains Carbon (C), Hydrogen(H) and Oxygen(O) atoms.

1 g = 0.00318 mol

∴ 1 mol = \frac{1}{ 0.00318} = 314.46 g.

Let the number of Oxygen atoms be x atoms.

∴ Number of Hydrogen atoms = 15x atoms.

∴ Number of Carbon atoms = \frac{70}{100} X 15x atoms.

∴ Molecular Formula is given by,

C          :    H      :      O

\frac{15 X 70}{10 X N_A}   :   \frac{15x}{N_A}     :   \frac{x}{N_A}

10.5      :   15       :   1

21          :   30      :   2

The molecular formula is   C_{21}H_{30}O_{2} .
