The given equations are

⇒x+y=7

⇒y=7−x...(1)

For eq (1)

if x=1 then y=7−1=6

if x=2 then y=7−2=5

if x=3 then y=7−3=4

Other given equation is

⇒x−y=3

⇒y=x−3...(2)

For eq (2)

if x=1 then y=1−3=−2

if x=2 then y=2−3=−1

if x=3 then y=3−3=0

if x=4 then y=4−3=1

if x=5 then y=5−3=2

In both equation  x=5,y=2 is common so if we draw a graph it meets the point (5,2).

Step-by-step explanation:

by adding equation

x+y=7

+

x-y=3

_______

x-y=10

x=5

by this value of x=5

3(7)x - (5)3y=10

15x- 21y=10

5x-7y =10

2y=10

y=5

y=1

Ans= (x=5) and (y= 1)
