The reason that dry ice doesn'twet the surface on which it iskept is dry ice is not made up of water, but instead it is made up ofdry ice . because the state of matter carbon dioxide is at room temperature ,it goes directly from a solid to a gas in a process called sublimation .because of this, it never passes .
