drying of wet cloths in air is a physical change as it's reversible.
physical change are those change which are reversible and no chemical reaction occurs hence no new substance is formed. whereas chemical change are irreversible and chemical reaction also occurs and new substance is formed.
in this change (drying of wet cloths in air) no new substance is formed. and we can get our dry cloths back. hence it's a physical change.
there's only change in shape, size or location if it's a physical change. in the above situation also there's only change in it's location and shape.
