Solution:

From given,

Increase in the price of sugar = 20%

Therefore,

Increased in Rs 135 = 20 % of 135

\text{Increased in Rs 135 } = \frac{20}{100} \times 135\\\\\text{Increased in Rs 135 } = 27

Due to 20% rise in price sugar,a bachelor is able to buy 1.5 kg less for rs.135

Therefore,

Increased Rate of 1.5 kg of sugar = Rs 27

Then find increased rate of sugar per kg

\text{Increased Rate of sugar per kg} = \frac{27}{1.5}\\\\\text{Increased Rate of sugar per kg} = 18
