                               Rejuvenating and Refreshing Nature

Nature is the alpha and omega of life. Man came into being out of nature. Without nature, man cannot exist for a second. The oxygen that he inhales every moment, comes from the nature; the water he drinks, he receives from nature. Similarly, food, fruits, vegetables, clothes, wood, iron, gold, diamonds, and everything he receives from the bountiful hands of nature.

Not only is nature the supplier of his sustenance, it is also the paint that weaves colourful patterns around his existence. The blue sky, the orange sunset, the white clouds, the green meadows, the silvery rivers and moon, the vibrant rainbow and flowers, etc;  these colorful entities make his life polychromatic and full of fun, peace, joy, and serenity.

Often his going to mountains refreshes his being after the exhaustion of the mundane life among machines in the cities. Nature, like a loving mother is always suckles man with its resources to keep him alive, healthy, happy and peaceful. However, the thankless man fails to be a responsible son. Owing to his selfishness and greed, the mother is losing its health. The stupid and narrow-sighted man fails to see that his own survival is impossible without the Mother Nature. Nature is not merely important for man; rather it is indispensability for him.

It’s true that nowadays, due to busy life we get no time to admire nature. Because of present life style we have moved away from nature. Look at our life style. We get up late and drink tea have a breakfast and run for office. For complete day we are sitting in front of computers answering mails, creating spreadsheets or presentations. When we are not looking at computers we are either looking at our television sets or mobile phones. Children now days play outdoor games like basketball, football and cricket on their video games attached to TV screen, not in park or playground. This has resulted in getting eye related complications much early in our lives. If you see young children going to school most of them have specs on their eyes. Apart from this our diet has become terrible. Fast food has become way of life and we are not eating whole foods and dairy for strength. It has resulted in obesity epidemic. High blood pressure and diabetes are very common phenomena in our lives.

On the contrary to this life style if we remain in contact with nature it can do wonder in our life. Starting our day with a morning walk works like a magic. A brisk walk in the neighborhood gives us a great flow of oxygen in our lungs. This provides us energy to contribute positively throughout the day. Going for a trek once in a while reconnects us with nature. Watching sun rise from a mountain top or sun set from a beach gives solace to our souls. Exercise like running, cycling, skipping ropes makes our body strong. Due to physical activities and connecting with nature our body releases chemical called endorphin that is anti-stress. This is the reason that when we exercise we feel energetic throughout the day. If we want to live a healthy and fulfilling life it is important that we reconnect with nature and live our life in stress free manner.
