Answer:

24 Rs

Step-by-step explanation:

due to an increase of 20% in the price of eggs, 2 eggs less are available for Rs. 24. The present rate of eggs per dozen is :

Let say Egg Price per Egg =  E  Rs

Eggs Available in 24 Rs = 24/E

With 20% increase the Price = E + (20/100)E = 1.2E  Rs

Eggs Available in 24 Rs = 24/1.2E  = 20/E

24/E  - 20/E  = 2

4/E = 2

=> E = 2

rate of eggs per dozen = 12E = 12*2 = 24 Rs
