Answer:

(12 - 10.5)\% = 1.5\% = 90 \\ 1\% = \frac{90}{1.5} \\ 100\% = \frac{90 \times 100 \times 10}{15} \\ = 6000

The Money lender's capital is 6000Rs.

Due to fall in the rate of interest from 12 % to 10.5 % Per annum Money lender's yearly income diminished 90.

We have to find the capital of money lender.

Let Money lender's capital is X.

Initial rate of interest is 12 % per annum.

So, he gets interest per annum = 12 % of X

Now rate of interest becomes 10.5 % per annum.

∴ he will get interest per annum = 10.5 % of X.

∴ The reduction of interest of Money lender = 12 % of X - 10.5 % of X = 90 Rs.

⇒(12 - 10.5) % of X = 90

⇒1.5X/100 = 90

⇒X = 6000

Therefore the Money lender's capital is 6000 Rs.
