This was the question that had come in Class X Board 2016 today.
Answer -

CSA of Cylinder = 2*22/7*2.8*3.5 = 61.6 sq. cm

Slant Height of Cone =  \sqrt{(2.8)^{2} +(2.1)^{2}} \sqrt{x} 12.25 = 3.5 cm
Hence, CSA of Cone = 22/7*2.8*3.5 = 30.8 sq. cm

Total Area of 1 Tent = 61.6 + 30.8 = 92.4 sq. cm
Rate of Canvas = ₹120 per sq.  metre
Number of Tents = 1500
Number of School to share the cost = 50
Hence, the amount contributed by each school = [1500/50]*[120*92.4] = ₹332640
