due to mistake in one of the questions,the teacher decided to give one bonus mark to each student. how will the median be affected by this? old median was 60.is it possible to find new median?​

Yes, it is possible to find new median. Median will surely be affected because it depends on change in scale. And in this case median will increase by one and will become '61'.

For example,

Marks obtained by 3 students be 40,60 and 80.

Median is 60 here.

If marks of all students is increased by one then new marks will be 41,61, and 81.

Now also, median is 61 only.
