The solution to stop poaching is by looking into what make people kill wild animals. It could be to sell animal parts such as ivory, bones etc. and make money, it could be for protection, it could be for food and the reasons go on.

The first can be stopped by removing the market for animal parts and meting out strict punishments to those engaged in such activities. The second can be addressed by the Forest department by natural methods, to avoid man-animal conflict. If wild animals are being hunted for food, the government must take stringent actions to prevent it.

Raising general awareness through advertisements and broadcasts helps to stop such reckless activities.
