Due to some misunderstanding you had an argument with your friend. Write a letter to
that friend apologising and clarifying your position as you do not want to lose a good friend
like him/her

Dear Karl

I am sorry for quarrelling with you yesterday. I should not have argued without completely understanding the matter. I am writing this letter to express my apology.

After fighting with you, I was left devastated. I realized I had rashly fought with my best  friend and perhaps lost him too. But it would be too hard on me to lose a friend like you. After all, we have been friends for a long, long time and we have shared so many memories. Even though we fight a lot, I think we both can agree on one thing: we are best  friends and our friendship will not end because of a silly misunderstanding.

I hope I can make it up to you by this piece of paper and your favourite chocolate. Please forgive me for my words and become friends with me again.

Yours lovingly

Anika
