= 2.8 square + 2.1 square
Therefore, L = √12.25
= 3.5 cm
Area of canvas required for 1 tent
= 2πrh + πrl
= 2π × 2.1 × 4 + π × 2.1 × 3.5
= 16.8 π + 7.35 π
= 24.15 π
= 24.15 × 22/7 = 75.9m square
Therefore, Area of canvas required for 100 tents = 75.9 × 100
= 7590 m square
Cost of 1 m square = Rs.100
Therefore, cost of 7590 m square
= 7590×100
= Rs.759000
Amount association has to pay
= 759000 × 50/100
= Rs.379000
