Heyaa folk,
As, 'Light travells in a straight line' ;
We see sharp shadows of opaque objects.
Let me give you the experiment.
Take torch in straight along, first the ball and then ball large paper of white colour. Turn of the lights in your room and on the torch. You will notice that ball's shadow is seen on the paper.
[ It's a simple experiment, that you will do in your home. No need of laboratory ;) ]
Hope it helps u :)
