dear diary
today i am as grief-stricken as i was a cuple of years ago when the road accident had left me paralysed on my left leg due to a subdural haemorrhage. my dearest pet, my best friend, my saviour duke breathed his last in hospital today. but for him, i would have been confined to bed and leading a vegetative life. it was he who coaxed me to be on my feet and lifted my numb spirits. his patience, perseverance and determination inspired me and filled me with an inner strength. through his efforts i learnt to focus on the solution rather than one the problem. wonder, how a dog could teach me so much about life and living!his death has created a void in my life that is hard to fill.however, i must face this pain and grief with the same courage.love you duke! goodbye buddy.may your soul rest in peace!
