Duke was a four year old Dobermann pinscher weighing 23 kilos. Chuck Hooper likes Duke for his energy and cheerfulness. Duke knew what he had to do for Hooper. Once, while jumping he hit the Hooper about the belt, causing him to fight to keep his balance. He never jumped on Hooper again. With Hooper standing, the dog walked to the end of the leash and tugged steadily. Leaning against the pull,Hooper learned to keep his balance. In this way, Duke helped Hooper to go on for short walks and was an extraordinary dog.

There is no doubt that Duke was an extraordinary dog . The 23 kilo doverman pinscher was an intelligent and faithful dog. He understood his masters' feeble physical condition. He motivated him with heart and soul. He poked his pointed nose under Hoopers' elbow and forced him to get up from his bed. Initially they took few steps but gradually increased their walking distance. Then with his strong determination that was reciprocated by Duke Hooper could finally move and reach his branch office one day. Then he was promoted to the post of Assistant National Sales Manager that was a tribute to duke
