If metals and non metals wastes are dumped together it leads to environment pollution yes, I support the statement anaerobic respiration takes place and aerobic respiration decreases

The statement that the dumping of waste material made up of metals and non-metals leads to environmental pollution is totally justifiable and supportive because of the fact that the metals and non-metals do not degrade biologically in an environment.

Further, they corrode the ground nutrients by the leaching and even causes eutrophication. It further causes the greenhouse effect leading to global warming due to the green house gases liberated from the oxides of non-metals. In the narrowest sense, it covers the space open for dumping the biodegradable wastes thus landfills.
