yes I support this statement. because dumping of waste materials made up of metals and non metals do not get decomposed easily and hence, pollutes the environment.
example, metals such as a metal jug doesn't get decomposed faster and they need to be dumped as such, which leads to environment pollution. and a non metal item such as a plastic bag needs to be burnt to get decomposed, whereas burning plastic bags releases a poisonous gas which leads to breathing problem such as asthma and therefore it leads to environmental pollution.
