During 7 1/2 months of hibernation a black bear experienced a weight loss of 64.4 lb on average.  what was the Bears weight change per month round to the nearest tenth.

 

I  did 64.4 divide by 7.5 gave me 8.586 rounded to the nearest tenth 8.6 .  Says that the answer is incorrect.  Please help me to understand.

I think my second answer is more accurate so I'm gonna check it:

8.6 × 7.5 = 64.5

(Close enough)
