Answer:

Given :  Flight time = 2 hr

One third of time aeroplane flew at a speed of 760 km/h

Rest of time  aeroplane flew at a speed of 800 km/h

To Find : Distance covered during flight

Solution:

Total Time of Flight  =  2 hr

One third of Time = 2/3  hr

Remaining Time = 2 - 2/3  = 4/3  hr

One third of Time  Flew at speed of 760 km/hr

Time = 2/3 hr

Distance = Speed * Time  = 760 x 2/3  = 1520/3  km

Rest of Time  Flew at speed of 800 km/hr

Time = 4/3 hr

Distance = Speed * Time  = 800 x 4/3  = 3200/3  km

Total Distance =  1520/3 + 3200/3

= 4720/ 3  km

= 1,573.3 km

Distance covered during flight  =  1,573.3 km
