During a cultural programme, the organising committee also conducted a rangoli making competition using only waste material.the best rangoli was barricaded by use of hollow cones.the radius and slant height of a cone are in the ratio 4:7. If it's curved surface area is 792cm^2, find:
(a) it's radius
(b) height of cone
(c) the values exhibited by the organising committee

let the radius of the hollow cone= 4x
           slant height of the hollow cone = 7x
curved surface area = 792 cm²
πrl = 792
22/7×4x ×7x = 792
88x =792
 x = 9 cm
(a) radius = 4×9 =36 cm
     slant height = 7×9 = 63 cm
(b) height =√ 63² - 36² = 51. 70 cm
