During a film, Gavin ate 2 1/3 handfuls of snack mix, and Aisha ate 2/3 of a handful. How much more did Gavin eat?

\huge{\mathcal{\underline{\underline{SoluTion:}}}}

Amount \: Gavin \: ate = 2 \ \frac{1}{3}  \\  =  \frac{7}{3}  \\ Amount \: Aisha \: ate =  \frac{2}{3}  \\

We have to find how much more did Gavin ate.

So, we have to subtract Gavin's part from Aisha's part.

 =  =  >  \frac{7}{3}  -  \frac{2}{3}  \\  =  \frac{7 - 2}{3} \\  =  \frac{5}{3}

Therefore, Gavin ate 5/3 handfuls of snack mix more than Aisha.
