Answer:

5 pencil packs and 3 crayon packs

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi

Number of colour pencils in a pack

= 18

Number of crayons in each pack = 30

If we find full packs of both which has same number of pencils and crayons

We have to find L C M of 18 and 30

18= 2 × 3 × 3

30 = 2× 3 × 5

L C M (32,24) = 2 × 3×3 ×5=90

18 pencils = 1 pack

i) 90 pencils = 5×18 pencils = 5 packs

ii) 30 crayons = 1 pack

90 crayons = 3 × 30 crayons = 3 packs

If want pencils and crayons same in number we have to buy 5 packs of pencils and 3 packs of crayons.

Hope this will helps you.

Hey mate hear is your answer

Number of color pencils in one pack = 24 No of crayons in pack = 32

Number of color pencils in one pack = 24 No of crayons in pack = 32

∴ The least number of both colours to be purchased = LCM of 24 and 32 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 = 96

Number of color pencils in one pack = 24 No of crayons in pack = 32 ∴ The least number of both colours to be purchased = LCM of 24 and 32 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 = 96

∴ Number of packs of pencils to be bought = 96/24 = 4 And number of packs of crayon to be bought = 96/32= 3
