Answer:

Nice question

Solution-

Here BC is the foot of the tree .

Height of the tree = BD =?

In right angled ∆ ABC,

By Pythagoras theorem,

AC^2 =AB ^2+ BC ^2

AB ^2= BC ^ 2- AC^2

= ( 3.6) ^2 - (1.5) ^2

=12.96-2.25

=10.71

AB = 3.27

Height of the tree = AB+AC

= 3.27+1.5

= 4.77 m

The height of the tree is 4.77 m
