During a test match series of cricket three bowlers A, B and C together took 23 wickets. The
ratio of wickets taken by A and B is 4:3, and the ratio of those taken by B and C is 2:3. Find the
wickets taken by A, B and C.

Answer:

let ratio of b=x

then,

A=1.33333x(4/3)

C=1.5x

applying above to A+B+C=23

i.e; 1.333333x+x+1.5x=23

3.83333x=23

therefore X=6

so B=6, A=8, C=9
