During Akbar's rule, the farmers had to pay one-
third of their revenue to the government. What
would the government use this money for? Do we
in modern-day India, also pay part of our earnings

The money taken from the from farmers were taxes and were used for the betterment of people and place of his reign. Yes, it is also taken in nowadays by the government in different ways like G.S.T., toll tax etc. for our betterment only
