γ = 3/2 !

Explanation:

According to the question,

p ∝ T^3 _[i]

[ p = pressure, T = temperature ]

and we know that

pV = nRT and pV ∝ T _[ii]

So,putting Eq [ii] in [i],

=> p ∝ ( pV )^3

=> p^2V^3 = constant

=> pV^3/2 = constant _[iii]

=> Comparing Eq [iii] with pV γ = constant

We Have γ = 3/2

∴ The Ratio of Cp/Cv for the gas

is 3/2 !
