Time taken for the signal to the ground station

= 5 minutes

= 5× 60 seconds

= 300 s

Speed of signal = 3 × 10^8 m/s

Distance = speed × time

= 3 × 10^8 × 300

= 900 × 10^8 m= 9× 10^10 m

= 9 × 10^7 km

Hope it helps....
