During an experiment the student were asked to prepare 10% solution (mass by mass) solution of sugar in water.Arpit dissolves 10g of sugar in 100g of water while chirag why dissolving 10g of sugar water to make 100g of solution

In 10g sugar water 1g sugar is present. So Chirag have to dissolve 100g of sugar water.
