Chemistry, asked by priyabrat94, 20 hours ago

During an experiment the students were asked to prepare a 20%(mass/mass) solution of sugar in water. Tina dissolved 20g of sugar in 100g of water while Rahul preparing it by dissolving 20g of sugar in water to make 100g of solution.
(i) Will both of the solutions have same concentration?
(ii) Will both solutions have the mass percentage?
(iii) What will be the mass percentage of solution prepared by Tina?
(iv) What will be the mass percentage of the solution prepared by Rahul?
(v) Whose solution contains less amount of solute?

Explanation:

No.

solution Made by Ramesh

Mass % = 10 / 100 + 10 × 100 = 10 / 110 × 100 = 9.09

solution Made by Sarika

Mass % = 10 / 100 × 100 = 10 %

The solution prepared by Sarika has a higher mass % than the prepared by Ramesh .

Ramesh solution contain less amount of solute

Is my answer helpfull
