___________

During anaerobic respiration 2 ATP are produced by breakdown of 1 glucose

1 glucose =2ATP

So....

By breakdown of 20 glucose number of ATP molecules produced are :-

20glucose =2×20 ATP

20glucose =40 ATP

QUESTION:- During anaerobic respiration, number of ATP molecules generated by the breakdown of 20 glucose molecule is __

________________________________

ANSWER:- OPTION [C] IS CORRECT

CALCULATION:- First of all you should know that one molecule of glucose produces 2 molecule of ATP

hence, in above question 20 glucose molecules are breaking down.

i.e. 1 GLUCOSE = 2 ATP

then,

20 GLUCOSE = 2x20

20 GLUCOSE = 40 ATP
