During civil disobedience movement Indian people broke colonial laws

Explanation:

On 12th March 1930  Mohandas Gandhi, the "Indian Indpendence Leader" began his most daring civil disobedience opposing the British rule of India, a rebellious march to the sea in protestation against the "British monopoly" on Salt.

In 1930 the Campaign of Civil Disobedience began against the salt law. The Indian people & the colonial govt responded in their "own way" to the revolution.

  1. Numerous Indians in various parts of the nation had broken the salt law, produced salt & showed salt factories before govts.
  2. Foreign clothes were boycotted as the campaign spread, and spirits shops were chosen.
  3. The village officials resigned, and forestry people in several places had violated laws of the forest – moving into Reserved forests to gather wood & graze cattle.
  4.  Schools, universities and state and local offices have been boycotted.
  5. People & leaders who were involved in the Civil Disobedience Movement were arrested on a large scale.
