During contraction : 1. Actin filaments are pulled towards the centre of ‘A’ band. The ‘Z’ line attached to these actins are also pulled inwards thereby causing a shortening of the sarcomere. 2. ‘I’ bands get reduced, whereas the ‘A’ bands retain the length Regarding 1 and 2 : What are A,B and C in order?
