The fat is converted into fatty acids and glycerol during digestion. Fats are stored energy.

During the digestion of fats it is first broken down into smaller globules by the action of bile juice and becomes emulsified fat.


These emulsified fats then broken down to fatty acids by the enzyme called lipase which are readily absorbed .
