Anode : A plate or rod of silver.

1.  Sodium argento cyanide (Na[Ag(CN)2]) and hydrocyaruc acid (HCN).

2. Overall strength of silver ions does not change in the electrolyte as the number of Ag+ ions entering the electrolyte is equal to the number of Ag+ ions discharged at cathode.
