They were located and rescued by helicopters,boats shifted them from the place of affected to camps Many of them like me and my family Survived in the top floor. Soon govt. Was able to collect funds from other states and from helping hands to do initiative measures.

I am from KERALA and saw the extreme conditions of a flood.During the people were mainly located in relief camps that are actually schools.Sometimes people even refuse to get out of their houses and then the volunteers gave them food and water.In extreme areas were boats cannot reach air lifting was the main rescue method.
The medias were flooded rescue requests
A flood causes a great disaster and a huge expenditure for central and state governments.
