during heavy rains in a village the rain water carried excessive nitrogen compound to a pond .
how will it affect the growth of fish in the pond in the long run?

if the excessive level of nitrogen is stored in pond then it will increase BoD and ultimately will make water toxic so if human can consume it will cause blue baby syndrome ,nitrogen on other hand will make reactions and give rise to algal blooms which will led eutrophication.
