During hibernation an adult frog is ureotelic while a tadpole is ammonotelic .

during hibernation frog requires to reduce the loss of water as much as possible so they are ureotelic bcz it requires less water then ammonotelic while tedpoles are ammonotelic as they live in water where there is no scarcity of water.
