C) knighted

Sir Vijay Ananda Gajapathi Raju known as the Maharajkumar of Vizianagram or Vizzy, was an Indian cricketer, executive, and bureaucrat. Vizzy also worked as an administrator as he was the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Vizzy was the only Test cricketer to be knighted through his playing days. He was awarded the knighthood while he was on the journey to England in 1936.
