hey friend,

During inspiration in cockroach the respiratory passage is spiracles.
Cockroaches have small openings in the the sides of their body which are called spiracles, they help in exchange of gases ( inhaling O2 and exhaling CO2). Spiracles are connected internally with a network of air tubes, called tracheae.
The atmospheric air rich in oxygen enters the body through spiracles. It then diffuses into the body tissues and reaches every cell of the body where cellular respiration takes place. The carbon dioxide released by the cells, goes into the tracheal tubes and expelled out through spiracles.

Answer:
Spiracles
Explanation:
- During inspiration, oxygen flows through all the spiracles and into the trachea, where it affects every cell as well as tissues within the body.
- Carbon dioxide passes only through the trachea passages and then out the spiracles in a similar way.
- Cockroaches, like people, do not even have lungs, but they do have a strong respiratory system.
- Spiracles are holes in the skin of various animals that lead to their respiratory systems.
