During launch of a space shuttle the thrust help in its uplifting due to Newton's first law of motion.
- Newton's first law of motion states that " any object will continue to stay at rest unless any external force is applied to it".
- Due to this law of motion, Space shuttle is able to uplift because of the thrust exerted by the weight of the space shuttle.
- The space shuttle stays at rest when it is not ignited. As soon as the engine of shuttle starts, it exerts force on land and because of it's weight it uplifts.
- The engine presure of the shuttle overpowers the weight of the shuttle which helps in the elevation of the space shuttle.
