Question

During lightning, it is safer to sit inside a bus than in open ground or under a tree. why?

See the lightning can strike you at any place be it bus, open ground or under a tree.

But the most safest option would be sitting inside the bus because current follows Circumferencial path and thus we wont be hurt.

bus and then go to ground.

hence it's safer to sit inside a bus than to stand or sit under a tree
